The Tamil nadu Government on June 5, 2018 announced that it would ban the use of Plastic items, including non-biodegradable carry bags from January 2019 to "Gift a Plastic Free" state for future generations. 

Following this announcement, the government departments are implementing plastic ban in their respective Offices. 

As a part of this programme, The Directorate of public health and Preventive medicine has also issued order to ban usage of disposable plastic materials and make alternate arrangements. 

The above banner is a sample, which gives a gist of the policy, and this poster is to be pasted/ painted in all Important govt. Institutions.
